What is Karma?
Here it means…
-
Karma's Purpose
is to provide financial know-how at fair and affordable pricing.
-
Karma's Vision
is our creative and wellbeing communities supported with the financial know-how to navigate financial life, allowing them to make friends with the Future while living in the Now.
-
Finacial Wellbeing
Karma sees finances as a living energy system, requiring balance and harmony like any other energy system. This includes use, storage, and movement of information and energy, as well as adaptation and exchange of these things with the environment. By putting the proper practices and channels into place, energy (that’s money!) entering a system can automatically flow to the right places.

Hello.
My name is Dawn. I worked as a CPA for first decade of my career, after which I spent the next decade as a creative writer living at the edge. This has given me a unique combination of financial technical knowledge and pragmatic creative-life experience. I know what it’s like. These two experiences make me uniquely positioned to help creatives navigate financial life at the edge.
My approach to financial wellbeing is holistic. This includes the intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual sides of creating a thriving energy system. My personal journey has integrated over a decade’s experience as a CPA, my own creative and spiritual journeys, as well as my search to discover a meaningful relationship with money. I would like to use these experiences to help you. Let’s create a harmonious relationship with money together, aligning both your financial and creative/wellbeing goals, making money an ally in the pursuit of your spiritual and creative explorations. I can help with:
Tracking income and expenses
Tracking and reducing debt
Avoiding credit card interest and reducing interest paid on debt
Setting up automatic savings practices
Opening investment and retirement accounts
Creating a living revocable trust
Creating systems for reporting self-employment income
Paying estimated taxes on time
Smooth filing of income tax returns
Creating legal business entities, like partnerships, LLCs, corporations, and nonprofits
Setting up charitable giving practices (money karma!)
Taking advantage of state services for low-income individuals
Creating greater financial wellbeing, together. ㅤꨄ︎
